Job Description: Urgent Care Doctor Position Title: Urgent Care Doctor Location: Rancho Cucamonga, Ca Employment Type: Full-time/Part-time Reports To: Medical Director Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Urgent Care Doctor to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality medical care in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. The Urgent Care Doctor will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and other urgent medical conditions. They will also be required to see Workers Comp patients and perform DOT physicals. If not DOT certified we will arrange for that training. Key Responsibilities: Provide immediate medical attention to patients presenting with a wide range of conditions. Perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and make treatment decisions. Administer treatments including minor surgical procedures, wound care, and other necessary interventions. Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records using the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. Ensure patient confidentiality and adhere to all relevant regulations and standards. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development. Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance and disease prevention. Collaborate with other medical staff, including nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and support staff. Qualifications: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or related field. Valid medical license to practice in California. BLS/ACLS certification required; PALS certification preferred. Experience in an urgent care or emergency room setting is highly desirable. Strong clinical skills and the ability to make quick, accurate decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Working Conditions: Fast-paced clinical environment with exposure to various medical conditions.
