Reporting to the Assistant Human Resources (HR) Director, the Occupational Health Physician is primarily responsible for the delivery of client services, medical leadership and clinical oversight for the Occupational Health Division.  This is a primarily administrative position, and the incumbent will work closely with a PA/or NP in conducting pre-employment medical screenings of new hires to ensure that they are physically and mentally capable of performing essential job related duties and functions.   The incumbent will also conduct fitness-for-duty evaluations of employees, oversee various annual physical/health screening programs, and will serve as the Department’s Medical Review Officer for drug screen results.
